It was late. The contact of this "drug god" was late. Aleksandra was on her fifth cigarette and about as pissed as she could be without disemboweling anyone that approached her. Duncan was going to owe her big if the asshole this home-brew drug maker did not show. She was going to take out her anger on any Dog that bothered later. She finished her cigarette and looked at her watches impatiently, lighting a new cigarette right as she turned to see someone stumbling to her. Her voice was gruff and was, at this point, thick in her accent. It was all she could do not to slip into Russian. Taking the cigarette out of her mouth and breathing out as she pointed to the person with the hand holding the cigarette, she spoke. "You with this 'Nikolai' guy?" She looked almost feral, ready to kill the man should he prove not to be the person she was waiting on.

Floor. Face. Kissing. Why is it kissing me? It's married. Such were the thoughts lagging through the mind of the pathetic druggie that had just collapsed at Aleksandra's feet. Another foot and he would be puzzled by the kissing of her shoes, not the concrete he had dove into. This must be the bear that I'm supposed to talk too. Or was that a walrus? Bearrus? Does it matter if I don't want to eat the penguins? The sheer concentration required from the man to mutter out the phrase "Bearruses don't eat people too, do they? Only penguins? Because the penguin pants of the on before accidentally were more yellow than purple when I got them because of the bathtub. I hope mind don't you. If Batman kisses Robin, then we should run away and have sex. Horny I am. That's not my name though. Let's have sex." was embarrassing, and the sight of the aroused man writhing on the floor at Alek's feet was more than enough to make most observers laugh, cry, and then laugh some more.

Aleksandra watched the pathetic man fall to the ground before her. It was all she could do to keep herself calm. She turned and, shaking, put out her cigarette on a nearby stone bench. She went back to the man and grabbed a handful of his hair with her right hand, slowly lifting him up so as to draw out as much pain as she could. There was nothing more than she wanted right now but to hear the man whimper in pain."Идиот. (Idiot.)" She punched him a few times in the stomach, then let go of his hair and let him fall back to the ground. She stared down at him and crossed her arms, a fury behind her eyes. Her voice was deathly calm when she spoke. "Are with with the program now? Or am I going to have to bring you closer to reality?"

The abused drug abuser gave Alek a shit-eating grin. One of the several effects of Purge was to shut down the pain response. Nikolai had learned that was a wonderful thing for children that were bleeding in a hundred places while working out the perfect recipe. Feeling none of the pain, the druggie simply pulled out a recorder and letter, handing both to the ferocious woman standing above her. The letter was from Nikolai, and contained detailed guidelines for the meeting. Greetings, representative of the Black Dogs. This evening we will conduct a most important business. I trust that you have benefited form the samples of my products your organization received, and are anxious to obtain more of the same. I send you now this contact, a man who will serve very little purpose. His addiction is Purge, a particularly potent product, and he will not be capable of executing the orders I have tasked my other pawns with. I leave it to you, then to represent your organization. If you would, use the voice recorder you have received to record orally the offer your faction has to offer in exchange for my services. My base demands are simple; safety and comfort. Your offer will have to stand up to both the offers of the Red Moon Group and of Azulus. Keep this in mind as you record your proposition. Once the offer is recorded, deliver this letter and the recorder to the conspicuous dropbox by a tree near the south edge of the Market Square. I will send someone to retrieve the recording, and two days from now will have my response left for you in the same dropbox. Please make your proposal now, and leave my contact where he is. He will be mostly incapacitated, and serve no further use to me, but I wish no harm upon him. He does not know enough about me to be worth interrogating, and is not enough of a threat to anyone to deserve death. Simply leave him, and he will sort himself out when his high has passed. -Nikolai Karchov

Aleksandra clenched her fist at the look that the contact gave her. If this were any random person off the street, they would find themselves in pieces behind a dumpster. She took the letter and recorder from the man, shaking, and opened it. She read the letter, then glared back down to the drug addict that Nikolai sent her. She looked ready to leave him some wounds he would feel when he came off of his high, but she turned from him and walked a little away from him and started smoking a new cigarette to calm down a little. Once she was calm, she took a deep breath and started the recording. Her voice may have had a hint of anger left in it, her voice may have kept the edge to its accent, but she tried her hardest to keep these out of the recording.
"Hello, Nikolai Karchov. You have made contact with the Black Dogs. I apologize, as our leader Duncan had other plans and sent his second in command - Aleksandra Menedov - to speak to you." She paused a moment just to look back at the drug user that Nikolai had sent her. "We are quite impressed of the samples you gave us and you are indeed correct that our customers have come back begging for more - but you knew that already, I am sure. As for our offer, anything you want you will have. We will give you any accommodations you wish and will find ways to get anything you want to you in a quick and speedy manner. When it comes to security, you have the entire protection of the Black Dogs as well as protection from myself, which will prove more than sufficient, I think." She checked her watches, still talking. "We hope to hear from you again, Nikolai. In the mean time, be safe. Thank you." She ended the recording and looked at the recorder in her hand.
With a small nod, she headed out of the underground station and walked to the drop box that Nikolai had specified. Hesitating a moment to glance around, she dropped the letter and recorder into the box. Looking around again, she turned her back to the box and walked off, hands jammed into her pockets.
